4. Who We Share Your Information With
We share personal information only as described below. We do not sell your personal information.
Our appointed insurance carriers and underwriting partners
To obtain quotes and place coverage, we share information with the insurance companies we are appointed to represent and their underwriting and claims service providers. Each carrier handles your information under its own privacy practices.
Service providers we use to run our business
These include:
- Form and intake providers (Jotform) — to securely receive quote and callback submissions
- Customer relationship and lead management (Agency Zoom) — to manage your information and our follow-up
- Email and communications providers (e.g., Gmail / Google Workspace) — to communicate with you
- Analytics providers (Google Analytics 4) — to understand site usage
- Advertising platforms (Google Ads, Meta) — to measure ad performance and reach similar audiences
- Phone call tracking and routing — to attribute and record calls for service-quality and marketing purposes
Regulators, auditors, and law enforcement
We may share information with the Florida Department of Financial Services or other regulators, auditors, courts, or law enforcement if required by law, subpoena, or as necessary to protect our rights.
In a business transfer
If we are involved in a merger, sale, or transfer of assets, personal information may be transferred to the acquiring party, subject to a privacy commitment at least as protective as this Policy.
5. Tracking Technologies & Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to make the site work, remember your preferences, measure how the site is used, and improve our advertising. The main tools we use are:
- Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-XBY61NWQKR) — measures site traffic and lead form completions
- Google Ads conversion tracking — measures the effectiveness of paid search and display ads
- Meta (Facebook) Pixel — measures performance of Facebook and Instagram advertising and may build audiences for future ads
- Call tracking — assigns unique inbound phone numbers to different marketing channels so we can see which campaigns drive calls
6. Calls, Text Messages & Email
When you submit a quote or callback form, you may consent to be contacted by phone call, text message, or email at the number and address you provide. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any product. Standard message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP; you can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any marketing email; and you can ask us to stop calling at any time by telling the person on the call or emailing privacy@fisher.insure.
We record consent and may record calls for quality and training. We retain SMS opt-in records and opt-out records consistent with TCPA recordkeeping practice.
7. Your Privacy Rights
All residents
You can ask us to:
- Access — confirm what personal information we hold about you and get a copy
- Correct — update inaccurate information
- Delete — remove your information, subject to legal recordkeeping obligations as a licensed insurance agency
- Opt out — stop receiving marketing calls, texts, or emails
Send requests to privacy@fisher.insure. We will respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.
Florida residents
The Florida Digital Bill of Rights (FDBR) gives Florida consumers certain rights over their personal data when those rights apply to a covered business. FFI is below the FDBR's revenue threshold and is not a "controller" as defined in the statute, but we extend the access, correction, deletion, and opt-out rights above to Florida residents as a matter of practice.
California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, and other state-law residents
If you are a resident of a state with a comprehensive consumer privacy law, you may have the additional right to opt out of targeted advertising and the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information as defined in your state's law. To exercise these rights, email privacy@fisher.insure or send a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser. We do not knowingly sell personal information for money.
Insurance-specific rights
Under the federal Fair Credit Reporting Act and Florida insurance regulations, if an adverse underwriting decision is made about you based in whole or in part on information in a consumer report, you have the right to be told and the right to dispute that information.
8. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide our services and to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations. As a Florida-licensed insurance agency, we are required to retain certain customer records for at least five years after the end of the relationship; many records are kept longer for claims and audit purposes. Marketing-only contact data is retained until you opt out.
9. Security
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. The site uses HTTPS encryption in transit, and our service providers use industry-standard security controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children
Our site and services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, contact us at privacy@fisher.insure and we will delete it.
11. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be highlighted on the site or sent to you directly where required by law.
