You can ask us to:

Send requests to privacy@fisher.insure. We will respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.

Florida residents

The Florida Digital Bill of Rights (FDBR) gives Florida consumers certain rights over their personal data when those rights apply to a covered business. FFI is below the FDBR's revenue threshold and is not a "controller" as defined in the statute, but we extend the access, correction, deletion, and opt-out rights above to Florida residents as a matter of practice.

California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, and other state-law residents

If you are a resident of a state with a comprehensive consumer privacy law, you may have the additional right to opt out of targeted advertising and the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information as defined in your state's law. To exercise these rights, email privacy@fisher.insure or send a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser. We do not knowingly sell personal information for money.

Insurance-specific rights

Under the federal Fair Credit Reporting Act and Florida insurance regulations, if an adverse underwriting decision is made about you based in whole or in part on information in a consumer report, you have the right to be told and the right to dispute that information.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide our services and to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations. As a Florida-licensed insurance agency, we are required to retain certain customer records for at least five years after the end of the relationship; many records are kept longer for claims and audit purposes. Marketing-only contact data is retained until you opt out.

9. Security

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. The site uses HTTPS encryption in transit, and our service providers use industry-standard security controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
