Our Commitment
Fisher Family Insurance, LLC believes everyone in our community should be able to learn about insurance, get a quote, and reach us for help — regardless of disability, device, or assistive technology. We are working to bring fisher.insure to conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, which is the standard most U.S. courts and federal agencies reference for digital accessibility.
Measures We Take
Accessibility at FFI is an ongoing effort, not a one-time fix. Today, we:
- Design and code our website with semantic HTML, keyboard navigation, sufficient color contrast, and descriptive link text
- Provide text alternatives for meaningful images and icons
- Build forms with clearly labeled fields and error messages that screen readers can interpret
- Test our site with assistive technologies including VoiceOver (macOS, iOS), NVDA (Windows), and TalkBack (Android)
- Review the site for accessibility issues whenever we make a meaningful change to design or content
- Train our team on the basics of accessible communication, including by phone, email, and in person
Compatibility
fisher.insure is designed to work with the current and prior major release of:
- Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge on desktop (Windows and macOS)
- Safari and Chrome on iOS
- Chrome on Android
The site is built to support common assistive technologies including screen readers, screen magnification, voice recognition, switch controls, and high-contrast modes. If you use an older browser or assistive technology that's no longer maintained, some features may not work as intended.
Known Limitations
We are actively working on the following areas where parts of the site may not yet meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We will update this list as we resolve each item.
- Embedded third-party tools. Some forms, chat features, and analytics tools are provided by third parties whose accessibility we don't fully control. We choose vendors with accessibility commitments and offer alternative ways to reach us if a tool isn't working for you.
- Dropdown navigation. Our top navigation dropdowns are being upgraded to fully keyboard-accessible disclosure menus.
- Product cards. Our coverage cards are being converted from clickable containers to standard buttons so they can be activated with a keyboard.
- Decorative icons. Some decorative icons may still be announced by screen readers; we are completing a sweep to mark them as decorative so they are skipped during page reading.
Alternative Ways to Reach Us
If anything on this site is blocking you from getting a quote, reaching our team, or finding information you need, we will help you another way — by phone, email, or in person. There is never a requirement to use the website to do business with us.

Feedback Helps Us Improve
If you encounter a part of the site that isn't accessible to you, please tell us. We genuinely want to know — your feedback helps us prioritize fixes. When you contact us, it helps to include:

- A short description of what happened and what you were trying to do
- The browser, operating system, and assistive technology you were using (if you know)
Formal Complaints
If you believe your civil rights have been violated, you have the right to file a complaint with the U.S. Department of Justice's Civil Rights Division at ada.gov/file-a-complaint. We hope you'll reach out to us first so we can try to fix the issue directly.
Standards & Continuous Improvement
This statement reflects our current accessibility posture as of the effective date above. We review it at least once a year, and any time we make a major change to the website. WCAG continues to evolve (a 2.2 standard is widely deployed and a 3.0 standard is in development); we monitor those updates and will adopt newer guidance as it becomes the practical bar.
